1. Information we collect

BuiltBrilliant tools process only the data required to function. For KarmaGate, that is Reddit usernames and public post/comment history, used solely to evaluate against your configured moderation rules. For SharedTrust, that is salted, irreversible fingerprints of Reddit account and subreddit IDs plus aggregate flag counts — raw usernames and content are never shared between communities.

2. How we use information

Data is used exclusively to provide the tool's functionality — screening content, applying your rules, and sending you notifications you've requested. We do not sell personal data.

3. Data sharing

Data is processed on the host platform (Reddit) and is not shared with third parties, except as required to operate the service (for example, a webhook you configure for alerts) or by law.

4. Data retention & security

Audit and configuration data is stored only as long as needed to operate the service and is protected using the host platform's security controls.

5. Third-party services

The tools run on third-party platforms such as Reddit. Use of those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies.
