1. Acceptance of terms

By installing or using any BuiltBrilliant tool or application — including KarmaGate and SharedTrust — you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

2. The service

BuiltBrilliant builds tools and applications for third-party platforms such as Slack, Discord, Reddit, Shopify, Telegram, and Twitch. KarmaGate is an automated moderation tool that screens Reddit posts and comments against configurable community rules. SharedTrust is a cross-community trust registry that screens accounts against anonymized, network-wide reputation signals.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for how you configure and use each tool, for complying with the host platform's terms and policies, and for ensuring you have the appropriate permissions (for example, moderator access) where required.

4. Automated decisions

Tools like KarmaGate and SharedTrust perform automated actions based on your configuration. You are responsible for reviewing and adjusting that configuration, and for handling appeals and false positives.

5. Intellectual property

All tools, code, branding, and documentation are the property of BuiltBrilliant. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use them as intended.

6. Limitation of liability

Services are provided "as is" without warranty. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BuiltBrilliant is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the services.

7. Termination

We may suspend or discontinue the services at any time. You may stop using the services at any time by uninstalling the tools.
